Mossberg Model 46B-B / Mfg. 1947 to 1949 / C&R OK

Offered for your purchasing consideration is a complete, very nice, clean, Mossberg Model 46B-B. Manufactured from 1947 to 1949 the Model B-B was the final variation of the model 46 series. It is in excellent condition showing only the faintest of handling marks. I would rate the metal and wood finish to be in the 90% range or a bit higher. The mark that you see in the last picture behind the red & green safety markers is a light scratch and not a crack. Not too bad for a rifle that is between 69 to 71 years old.

The Mossberg Model 46 was first manufactured from 1935 until 1937 with models 46A / 46AC / 46A-LS / L46A-LS, 46B, and the 46B-B to follow.

This model 46B-B, being of postwar production, has a 26 inch barrel, full length tubular magazine with a capacity of 30 Short, 23 Long, and 20 Long Rifle cartridges. It also features a plain walnut stock which has a beautiful grain pattern; detachable sling swivels; and an adjustable trigger. The sights consist of a Mossberg S130 aperture (peep) sight, S-107 rear sight, and a hooded S106 front sight that has four different sight blades for the shooter to choose from.
